have been approved venues for continuing education credits and we spend many hours of
research developing pertinent content for each one.
Accredited Classes Seminars
Twice a year during the spring and fall, Wallace Welch & Willingham offers our clients accredited seminars lead by outstanding industry speakers to keep them up-to-date on the latest regulations and other developments in the human resources, employee benefits and commercial insurances. Our professional speakers present such topics as COBRA, HRAs (Health Reimbursement Accounts), HSAs (Health Savings Accounts), CDHP (Consumer Driven Health Plans) employee wellness, 401(k) Plans, Workers' Compensation, Employment Practices Liability, safety, etc.
Workshops
We offer our Tips Trips & Traps workshops periodically to our clients. These hands-on workshops lead by our own insurance professionals and are designed to give the HR professional, accountant, corporate executive, etc. an in-depth knowledge of selected topics such as employee handbooks, FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, EEOC, Section 125 and FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts), sexual harassment, insider's guide to workers' compensation, OSHA regulations, safety practices, fleet safety, job descriptions. Like our seminars, these workshops are also accredited for continuing education credits.
Approved Provider
WWW is an approved provider by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) for GPHR, PHR and SPHR recertification. The State of Florida has recently approved WWW as a Provider of CE (continuing education) credits for state licensed professionals such as CPAs (Certified Public Accountants).
